The End of a Long, Long...Boring day...

Follow up.

...my thoughts on paper...

IM DONE.

Ok. I want to know, what is art to you?

I've always thought it was expression...as a basic
but according to my art teacher its about making money. She talks about this every single day, lecturing us while we work about how art is about money. It angers me in ways I can't explain. Also I'd like to know if you think that teenagers can be just as mature as adults. I think yes. Again, my art teacher believes teenagers are dumb, to put it lightly. And lastly, Do you think art like I do is sell-able...

Just answer as honestly as possible, please, because I'm really sick of my art teacher telling me this stuff and me being the only one who thinks shes wrong...

So I'm pretty sure I'm not taking ANY art classes next year, especially if its with my current art teacher. I think the reason high school art teachers don't have any sense of CURRENT underground, street, and lowbrow art, is because they never get out...cus I'm pretty sure all teachers just live at school... oh well :)

MOVIE MONDAYS #1

OK, I've decided that every Monday from now to eternity, I am going to write about a great movie. No exceptions. I like movies A LOT, but more than just entertainment, I love to just pick them apart 'til it hurts my head to think. To start this wonderful tradition off, I'm going to begin with the movie that started my movie loving, M Night Shaymalan's SIGGNNNSSSSS

I know what your thinking, "What that dumb alien movie that wasn't scary at all?", but that's probably because you thought it was supposed to be a real scary movie before you saw it. STOP THINKING THAT. For those of you who can't see beyond the surface, I'm now going to give you my impression of this movie.

Signs is split into basically 3 parts...
1. The foreground, a man's journey of redemption and self discovery.
2. The middle ground, the message that M Night is trying to get across is that he believes there are no coincidences.
3. The background, a full scale alien invasion.

...and of course all the flash backs in between that aid, very well, to foreground story and the middle ground. So you see, the movie is not supposed to be about a scary alien invasion, it's a great story about a man who believes God took away his wife and is angry at Him for this, and then he begins to discover how wrong he is about a lot of things; It just so happens that aliens are taking over the world at the time. So maybe you should take a look at this movie again, and watch it as deep story instead of your typical thriller.

My Moto for the Week

"...God will take you through Hell, just to get you to Heaven...and I hope the picture painted clear, if your hearts filled with faith then you can't fear. Wonder how I face years and I'm still chillin easy, let go and let God deal with it..."

This Week Just Got Better

"Jesus Wash"

This morning I didn't have my pictures for photography printed so I had to wake up early to go to Walgreen, but they weren't open yet, so I left there and went to school and it was raining so hard and i couldn't see and drove into a ditch...then I also forgot my lunch. Its very disappointing when you wait all day to eat and you open your bag and there's no sandwiches in there. haha. But its stopped raining and the sun is out :) and tommarow is a new day...
