Who Makes the World?

A little over half way into the movie, Watchmen, we come to the adaption of a few different chapters of the comic. Even though it's different parts of the book put into one section, it is probably the scene in the movie that is most true to the book. In this scene Dr. Manhattan telaports to mars after becoming very angry at people on earth. We then see John making his fortress, as we flash back with in flash backs and flash forward, of the origins of Dr. Manhattan. The scene is so well done. I think what really does it though is the song that plays over the scene. Its so beautiful, an organ plays eerily while a choir sings. It really pulls the scene together but it plays so well on its own, as does the scene its self.

Here take a listen for your self, but you really should see the movie.

This is one of my favorites as well. I honestly doubted that it would be able to be done so well. Even when it shattered it was an immense sight to see.
