In the Woods...In the Woods.

Once upon a time a group of youth ventured into the woods of manatee springs. They drove miles to get there, and hit many road blocks along the way. But finally they arrived, but they had no clue of the adventures that lay ahead. They took rafts upstream a river and faced dangerous birds. They explored the woods and encountered beasts of the earth. They were in fellowship together. They watched wood, through fire, change into air. They swam deep into freezing cold springs. They heard the cries of the forest in the night. They found them selves. Their walls could not with stand love. Bonds grew, and love had become realized like a spring flower...or a dormant volcano that has been waiting to erupt. And dirt wrapped itself around there feet with a warm embrace. They were in love with the woods, but it soon was time to leave this lovely place. So they washed them selves of nature, and became "clean" as the world is. And they left, driving away in their motor machines. As we crossed the gates of manatee springs, I looked back to catch a finally glimpse of my love and a deer peeking out of the woods stares me in the eyes, as if to say good bye. How poetic. Good bye woods.

You can't always see the forest
through the trees
